Florence Nightingale Graham lived from December 31, 1878 to October 18, 1966, who went by the business name Elizabeth Arden, was a Canadian-born American businesswoman who founded what is now Elizabeth Arden, Inc., and built a cosmetics empire in the United States. By 1929 she owned 150 upscale salons across the United States and Europe. Her 1000 products were found in the luxury market in 22 countries. She was the sole owner, and at the peak of her career, she was one of the wealthiest women in the world. In recognition of her contribution to the cosmetic industry, she was awarded the Légion d'Honneur by the French government in 1962.
June Geranium was launched in 1931. There was a lovely Eau de Toilette called June Geranium Flower Mist, the bar soaps, and a Dusting Powder. I am sure there was originally a parfum extrait as well. I can find nothing remaining on the Internet regarding this once fabulous fragrance. It was popular right at the same time Lanvin's Spanish Geranium was also being sold.
Possible notes are as follows:
Top notes are Geranium, Lemon, and Bergamot
Heart notes are Palmarosa, Carnation, and Rose Geranium
Base notes are Tonka Bean, Oak Moss, Ambergris, Patchouli, and Sandalwood
Offered here is a very rare and well preserved bottle of the Flower Mist in its origianal presentation box. It smells lovely, a very light geranium. Unused. I will send you a bar of June Geranium soap with this purchase.
