The perfume house of Parfums d'Orsay is a truly aristocratic perfume line from France. The philosophy of the house is based on quality, understatement, character, seduction, praise, creativity and originality. They are very proud of their long tradition and heritage.
Although the house never belonged to the Count d'Orsay himself, his perfumes and the romantic air of his name gave birth to the Compagnie Francaise des Parfums d'Orsay, founded in 1908 with the goal to preserve the Count's perfume heritage and develop an aristocratic luxury perfume house on its basis. Many of the perfumes developed in this great perfume house were designed for men.
Both the bottle and base of the bouchon have matching numbers so that the two pieces were a perfect fit. There is tiny crystal beading around each edge of the bottle. The gold foil label is in act. There is a lovely remnant of D’Orsay’s ‘Fleurs de France’ remaining in the bottle and it smells superb. I have sought after the Fleurs de France perfume ever since, but have never found any.

The Fragrance is described as fresh, subtly milky, and powdery, capturing the essence of French flowers with notes of green, delicate florals (lily of the valley, mimosa, lilac), and a dry, honeyed hay base, according to Maison D'ORSAY.
I have taken the remaining perfume and have divided it into five decanted samples of a bit over 1/2 ml. each. It smells lovely and rich .. If you would like to purchase the empty flacon, I will sell if for $100. Let me know ..
