Taylor of London perfumes and colognes was established in 1887 in England. Their collection of fragrances, bath and other cosmetic and sent products are classic, fresh and adapted to modern times. Originally established at 169 Sloane Street, London, they can now still be found on Old Bond Street.
This beautiful Lavender water contains lavandula angustifolia, rose damascena flower distillate, citrus aurantium bergamia fruit oil, geranium oil. The bottom note is earthy, and the lavender and bergamot are almost equally mixed. The rose deepens the scent and the geranium gives it that really earthy aroma.
"A very nice, "British" type lavender. As I suspected the other components are in there to support and strengthen the lavender but make no mistake, the lavender is front and centre in this product.
After about thirty minutes the lavender has burned off considerably and the light mix of rose, bergamot, and geranium help to prolong the longevity though it would be a stretch to speak of this fragrance as having any real longevity. It is one of those "stays close" type scents. It also has the typical relaxing response lavender is known for."
