One Perfect Rose by La Prairie is a rare, discontinued floral fragrance for women launched in 1990. Created by legendary perfumer Guy Robert, it features rich notes of Bulgarian rose and complex florals, known for massive projection and long-lasting intensity. Released in 1990 after being conceived under former owner Georgette Mosbacher.
It was discontinued shortly after its initial release, making it a highly sought-after collector's item today.
While there is not a great deal about this beautiful fragrance left and little to be found on the internet, I can attest that it is a beautiful, soft, feminine rose perfume with deep notes of Bulgarian roses .. It features rich floral and dominant rose characteristics with subtle citrus nuances .. high-quality Bulgarian rose combined with complex, deep floral notes.
It is known for exceptional potency, featuring massive projection and long-lasting longevity exceeding 8 hours.
Offered here is a magnificent 30 ml. flacon of this incredible perfume. The hand polished rose shaped stopper is moulded from pure lead crystal and is acid etched to prepare for its cover of 18 karat gold. This layer of gold has been individually hand applied in France in an age old tradition and then is fused to the crystal in red hot ovens. This individual application of gold makes each stopper a work of art which accounts for variations in tonalities and makes each stopper unique.
