Established in 1798 by Pierre Francois Lubin in Paris, France, the house of Lubin is one of the most distinguished French houses in perfumery. Initially a small shop selling perfumed accessories to the nobility of the Imperial Court, the business eventually moved into the producing its own range of fragrances which have gone on to be revered by scent lovers around the world. Top notes are Sicilian Bergamot, Tuscan Orange Blossom, Nutmeg, Cardamom, and Ylang Ylang
Heart notes are Turkish Rose, Dades Jasmine, Iris of Florence, Mysore Sandalwood, and Broom Absolute
Base Notes are Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver, Tolu, Peruvian Balsam, Labdanum, and Oakmoss.

This fragrance was created in 1934 to celebrate a famous horse race at the Longchamp racetrack in Paris, followed by a sumptuous soirée. In pre-war days this had been one of the most exclusive evening parties of the year, to which the international jet set flocked in their numbers. Its crowning was a huge firework display which inspired the original bottle. Nuit de Longchamp was then released worldwide in 1937.
